🥳 Today is my 30th birthday! Time for a fresh new decade 🎉
🌎 I’ve traveled the nation, as well as much of Europe, as a USAF military brat, but I claim North Dakota as home since I was born in Grand Forks, and have always had family here!
🤍 I went to esthetics school in 2024, became licensed in January of 2025, and started working at SOS Image in mid-January. I offer a variety of facial treatments, eyelash and eyebrow services, full body waxing, and makeup application!
🏡 My husband Noah and I live here in Minot with our son Odin, and 2 dogs: Hera the black lab, and Max the German shepherd

After what felt like the longest 4 weeks ever, I finally got to give Noah his big birthday present today!

After his ankle injury, when he asked me for a hint in response to the news that he couldn’t have the gift until he could walk without a boot, I told him his only hint was that I invested my time instead of my money. Since the beginning of October, I’ve been attending Spectrum’s Women’s only BJJ class to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Noah.

At the end of February, Noah’s birthday present was planned for his birthday weekend. That Thursday prior, he severely sprained his ankle in jits and later discovered it’s a partially torn ligament that will need time to heal. Noah did not know what I had planned, but I was upset about not being able to give it to him at the time.
Fast forward to this past week, as Noah was cautiously walking without the boot at home, I set the plan in motion again. Today I left to drop Odin off with my parents, said “be right back, babe!”, and instead went to Spectrum. I got ready, warmed up with Sage, and then called Noah. I led him to the office where I had set up a small gift that also said to come to the mats with his gi. When he arrived, he was very confused as to why Sage and I were in gi’s and thought we were maybe playing a joke on him. I had my belt hidden between my legs. He got onto the mats, I asked him, “ready to roll?” as I pulled my belt out (which I was very honored and lucky to present one stripe on it with the Coach present who gave it to me), and we got to gently roll. Even with one good foot, he was very nice to me. 😂😂😂 He was very happy and surprised to hear that I’ve been training for the last 6 months without him knowing. I was very happy to finally have this special gift come to fruition, where I could put myself in a position to understand and share one of my husband’s passions. And after all these years, I was able to see and feel that passion in a different way, rather than listening to him talk about it and not really understanding much of it. I am also looking forward to continuing this hobby WITH him, and basically the rest of my family too. 😆
